"Holidays Abroad are a Spanish company based in Tenerife. Under
Spanish Law anyone marketing, selling, organising or taking payments
for travel related products must hold a Minorista or Mayorista
license. The Minorista license is a license for retailing travel
products direct to the consumer. The Mayorista license is a wholesale
license allowing us to sell our discounted accommodation through
third parties such as UK ABTA bonded travel agents and other partners.

Are there any booking fees or hidden costs ?
NO.

Are the rates on your site per person or per room per night?
"This depends on the type of accommodation selected.
"Typically all hotels are priced per person based on two adults
sharing a double or twin room. There are then supplements for single
use and normally discounts for children from 2 - 12 years of age.
"Apartments and Apart hotels are typically priced per unit and
have a maximum number of occupancy. Eg Studios, 1 Bedroom, 2 Bedrooms
normally sleep 3, 4, 6 people respectively."

Do children get discounts?
"Most Hotel accommodation will offer the following discounts
0 - 2 years old: free
2 - 12 or 14 years old: 25% - 50% discount"

What is the difference between "Immediate" and "On Request" confirmation?
"Immediate means we know there is availability and you can receive
your confirmation of booking immediately after we receive payment. "
"On Request means we will need to first check availability with
the resort and email you confirmation when the resort confirms
availability. This normally takes no longer than 24 hours in normal
working hours. "

How do I know if my hotel reservation is confirmed?
"You will receive by email your booking confirmation. This details
your booking reference number, the arrival date, resort details
and all names of all parties. Please check all details and contact
us immediately if there are any discrepancies. Please print the
confirmation once you are happy that it is correct and take to
the resort. "

What happens if I forget the confirmation?
"Do not panic. All resorts have their own reservations system
detailing all arrivals. Your name will be on the list and if there
are any problems the resort will contact our Tenerife office direct. "

How do I get to the Resort?
"When you arrive at the destination airport there will nearly
always be Taxi's who know the names of nearly all resorts."
- Tenerife. Most taxis charge 20 - 25 euros to the resort, unless
it is Los Gigantes.
- Car Hire. If you arranged for car hire , most car hire companies
provide a map and you can always ask us to provide you with directions
via email.

What happens to my hotel booking if my flight is delayed?
Most Hotels will hold the reservation for 24 hours. However it
would be wise to contact the resort to inform them of any delays.
The telephone number of the resort will be on your booking confirmation.

What happens if I get to the resort and I am not happy with
the accommodation for what ever reason?
"We endeavour to notify everyone of any changes passed onto us
directly from the resort. However we cannot be held liable for
any such changes in the resort which are not our responsibility.
You must initially deal with the reception directly and if you
wish you may contact us direct on 922 73 60 37 and will assist
you in your discussions."

What happens if I want to change my booking details?
"This depends on the type of change and we will always endeavour
to meet your requirements. Please see the detailed terms and conditions

Why does the price change from the website to the actual quote?
"Typically any price changes are due to the following:
- Exchange rates.
- On Request bookings the resort may change pricing.
- We have just received special offers from the resort.
"Once a price has been quoted the price will not change unless
you change the requirements."

Which credit cards are accepted?
"We accept all Mastercard, Visa, American Express Delta Switch
Solo, however it is possible to pay by bank transfer."

What credit card charges exist?
"Unfortunately there is a 2% credit card surcharge on all transactions."

What happens to my personal details?
"Your personal details such as name, email address and booking
details are stored on our secure server and only passed to our
accommodation providers to confirm bookings. The data will remain
on our server and will be used to send occasionally Special offers.
With all offers you can select "remove" from the mailing list and
you will not receive any further correspondence.
"Under no circumstances will we ever provide your details to any third party."

How safe are my credit card details?
"Credit card privacy is our primary concern. By making your hotel
purchase on our secure server, you are protected by Secure Socket
Layer (SSL) technology, utilized by most popular browsers, including
Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
"This technology allows us to use the most advanced encryption
tools necessary to protect information transmitted between your
computer and our server. Through encryption, the personal information
you enter, including your name, address, and credit-card information,
is converted into code that is then securely dispatched over the
